Services: Family Dentistry
At Crossroads Dental Wellness, family dentistry is an important part of our practice. We have dentists and staff members who specialize in dealing with children. We welcome parents to bring their kids to visit our office and take a tour before their children’s first appointment to familiarize them with the environment. We have also provided a play room for toddlers so that they associate having fun with visits to their dentist.
To help kids overcome their fear of visiting a dental office, one option we offer parents of very young kids (ages 1 to 5) is to bring their kids to our office for a tour. During the tour, the kids will have a chance to explore the environment, play with dental instruments in the treatment room and view a visual presentation of what is involved in a dental check-up and procedures. These tours are available at designated times throughout the week and a token fee is charged that will be credited against any future treatment costs for the child.
