Diagnodent is the latest high tech tool that listens to cavities. Most cavities occur in the creviced
surfaces of your teeth. The diagnodent uses light energy to detect changes in the tooth structure
that traditional diagnostic methods may not find.
 
The diagnodent sends a "wave" into your tooth. If this wave detects a cavity, it will send back a 
                                       reading in the form of a high pitch sound. The higher the pitch -  the greater the size of the cavity.
                                       Each pitch has numeric reading which is recorded in your dental chart.  
                                         
                                       This is beneficial because it helps catch cavities in their early stages and allows us to preserve
                                       as much of your tooth structure as possible. It is a completely safe and painless procedure that
                                       is the result of years of research by scientists and dentists in universities in Germany, Switzerland
                                       and Germany.
